The Tibetan Buddhist center Phuntsok Chö Ling organises from Friday 3 until Sunday 12 August 2018 a ten-day city retreat about the practice of Chöd with Lama Jigmé Namgyal. The retreat is in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) and can be attended by everyone who has received Chöd teachings before or has sufficient knowledge about the basic principles of Buddhist wisdom.
In Tibetan Chöd means literally ‘to cut through’ and it is practised as a powerful method to cut through obstacles like our own disturbing emotions, also known as our inner enemies.
It is relatively rare to receive teachings about Chöd in The Netherlands and, therefore, it is a unique opportunity for people to gain in depth knowledge in this extensive and effective practice.
In the Dudjom Tersar lineage of Tröma Nagmo Chöd, which starts with the great master Dudjom Lingpa, Lama Jigmé Namgyal is the fourth teacher. It is a very short, uninterrupted lineage ensuring the lessons of this lama coming directly from an authentic source.
You can register until the 20nd of July. There is an early bird offer when you register before the 9th of July!
