Some of you may be interested to know that an intensive classical Tibetan summer course will be organized by the ABELAO (Académie Belge pour l’Étude des Langues Anciennes et Orientales) in Louvain-la-Neuve from 1 to 11 August 2017. The course will be given by Dylan Esler, a scholar and translator of Tibetan texts.
This intensive summer course will be particularly useful for those who have been wanting to learn classical Tibetan, as it will enable them subsequently to join the weekly class (Reading Level) organized by the Tibetan Cultural Centre in Luxembourg.
The ABELAO also offers the possibility of studying a number of other ancient and oriental languages, including Sanskrit.

We would like to inform you that Lama Jigmé will travel to Ireland from 12 until 15 May 2017. He was requested to give teachings and lectures in the three beautiful locations there.

Lama Jigmé wishes to give Ireland more attention in the future, therefore he finds it useful to share this information with you.
As he is getting more requests to give lectures and teachings, he will regularly visit other countries. Lama Jigme will try to keep his students regularly informed about his activities.

Phuntsok Chö Ling (Netherlands) is organizing a special weekend in Rotterdam where Lama Jigmé will teach the basics of Chöd. The teachings will take place from Friday 30 June 2017 to Sunday 2 July 2107. This weekend is a required preparation for those who wish to attend the annual summer Chöd Retreat in Luxembourg (7-13 August) for the first time.

Phuntsok Chö Ling, Tibetan Buddhist Centre in the Netherlands, organises its yearly spring retreat during which Lama Jigmé Namgyal will give extensive teaching about shamathā and vipassanā meditation.
