Teaching and Practice with Lama Jigme
We are delighted to invite you to a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of Chöd with the upcoming Study Week led by Lama Jigme and organized by Phuntsok Chö Ling. This 7-day event will take place from Monday, July 22 to Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Phuntsok Chö Ling in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
During this intensive study week, Lama Jigme will guide us through the practice of Chöd (a Tibetan word that literally means ‘to cut through’), a powerful method for overcoming obstacles, including our own disturbing emotions, also known as inner enemies. This is an exceptional chance to experience the teachings first-hand and gain a profound understanding of the Mahayana and Sutrayana traditions.
Lama Jigme’s teachings are rooted in an unbroken, authentic transmission lineage, and his guidance will provide you with direct insight into the relative and ultimate truth. As stated in the Buddha’s Heart Sutra (Prajnaparamita): Form is emptiness. Emptiness is form. Form is nothing but emptiness and emptiness is nothing but form.
This study week is open to anyone with a solid understanding of the basic principles of Buddhism. However, please note that Chöd is a deep and powerful practice, and it may not be suitable for individuals with major mental limitations or emotional instability. Program: Walk-in 09:00 – Teaching 09:30 – 13:00 & Practice: 14:00-16:00 (without Lama Jigme)

- Only the full 7 days*
- If this is one of the first times you are taking classes with Lama Jigmé, please indicate your prior knowledge and background in Buddhism when you register.
* If this is really not possible, please state the reason when you register so that this can be discussed with Lama Jigmé well in advance.

Lunch: no lunch included, but coffee, tea and snacks are included.
