Phowa Introduction

October 19, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Join Lama Jigme for an introduction to Phowa, a traditional and extraordinary meditation practice that transforms negative emotions and thoughts. Led by Lama Jigmé Namgyal, this afternoon session will explore the concept of Phowa, also known as the transfer of consciousness.

As we all face the inevitable truth of death, Phowa offers a profound method to overcome fear and negativity at the time of dying. By becoming familiar with this practice, you can transform your consciousness to a pure perception, freeing yourself from the grip of fear and anxiety.

Lama Jigmé’s heartfelt desire is to share these valuable teachings with those who seek them, providing comfort and support during life’s most vulnerable moment.
