About Tenzin Pamo
Tenzin Pamo began her spiritual journey about ten years ago when she first met Lama Jigmé Namgyal, marking the beginning of a profound student-teacher relationship. She began her studies at Phunstok Chö Ling in Rotterdam, where she immersed herself in the teachings of Buddhism. As the desire to become a nun grew within her, Tenzin sought and obtained permission from Lama Jigme, and eventually received ordination by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. She currently lives in Namdroling Monastery (Tsogyal Shedrup Darye) in South India, with more than five hundred fellow sisters. Tenzin devotes herself to intensive study of Buddhist philosophy at the Shedra (college) and focuses on meditation and prayers for the well-being of others.
